About Thru Project
The Thru Project started out as a way for people to jump in and out of a Dailies project quickly. Specifically designed to bring in the new members as well as the old, the Thru Project has grown from a small group into a large network of filmmakers, all pitching in to create these episodes.
The intent of Thru, along with getting people involved, was to provide an experiment in open source filmmaking. The idea is that the universe we create is open to any and all, to take a character or a situation and make their own movie with it. The idea is to promote collaboration while playing nice with others. That's the idea, anyway...
